Floorcloths have been in use for hundreds of years.
Originally called 'oilcloths', these hand-painted canvas floor coverings are decorative as well as practical. They are easy to clean and are durable enough to be used in any area of the home. A floorcloth can be used to complement existing decor or simply stand on its own as a unique piece.

For my floorcloths, I use a heavy grade cotton canvas. I prime it before painting and then coat it with 4 layers of latex urethane to provide lasting durability. I use all latex paints.
In addition to creating my own designs, I paint custom pieces that incorporate elements of the environment for which they’re being created.Original designs typically consist of elements of outdoor scenes and color schemes that inspire me, combined with patterns that highlight the central theme.

Placemats, table runners, and coasters are all available, as is any other needed use of these decorative pieces.
